Mathew JehlLaw Clerk
Mathew joined Jehl Law Group in 2015 and is currently enrolled at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. In 2013, he graduated cum laude from Rhodes College, received the Abe Fortas Award for Excellence in Legal Studies, and was inducted into the college’s Hall of Fame.
While a student at Rhodes, Mathew competed in their collegiate Mock Trial program and, as a senior, was the captain of their top team. In addition to racking up Top Attorney awards across the country, Mathew led his team to a Runner-Up finish at the National Championship Tournament and was also named an All-American Attorney in 2013.
Prior to joining Jehl Law Group, Mathew worked in the Rhodes College Development Office and also coached in their Mock Trial program. As a coach, he successfully led the Rhodes College B-Team to three straight National Championship Tournament appearances.
Mathew is passionate about the law and its ability to help those who cannot help themselves. A lifelong Memphian, Mathew loves Memphis, and he hopes to use his JD to continue making it and the state of Tennessee a better place to live for everyone.
